we had the twin room which was great-sized for 3 beds. the hotel was in an incredible location right by the sea and the center or tortuguero village and the beach at the edge of town.

The peaceful location on the concrete sidewalk here was absolutely incredible for us.

The whole place was clean and the staff were outstandingly accommodating and amicable. Overall it was amazingly comfortable for 3 beds. The cost was gbp 55. The location was particularly good for Tortuguero, right by the Caribbean sea and the chaotic village centre. It also was close to the center of the town.

The location here is unbeatable, right on the beach with amazing ocean sounds surrounding you, and the unit comfortably accommodates three beds.

The hotel had a great location near the beach and within walking distance of the town. We loved being able to see the ocean from the property and the convenience of being able to explore Tortuguero on foot. the hammocks on the property were a nice touch and provided a relaxing spot to just sit and enjoy the view.

We had some issues with the facilities during our stay. the hot water was not consistently available and the internet was quite unreliable.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to assist us. the rooms were spotlessly clean and were cleaned daily during our stay. the kitchen was well-equipped with plenty of storage space and cooking utensils. the location was perfect, with a view of the ocean and just a short walk from the main area of the island. We even had the amazing experience of waking up to the sounds of howler monkeys and watching spider monkeys playing nearby while enjoying breakfast outside our room. Cons: Nothing to mention.

cabinas balcon del mar was a pleasant surprise during my return trip to tortuguero. the location was ideal, close to both the park entrance and the village center, yet peaceful. the staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel at home, despite the language barrier. highly recommended.
